| There is obviously heightened awareness in the public sphere concerning child protection issues in the Church and in the Archdiocese of Dublin in particular, a publication of the report of the Commission of Investigation into the Archdiocese of Dublin is imminent. We must first consider those who have been directly affected and assure them of our complete support, if needed and when requested. It is important to remind you that in this Diocese, guidelines in this area are operated to a high standard. | |

| New Youth Group Starting |

St Mochta’s Parish is growing with an ever increasing number of young adults. To address the many needs of this young adult group and to provide a social outlet in a comfortable, happy and safe environment in our parish, a new ‘Youth Group’ runs at the Parish Pastoral Centre. The group will be open to young people from Secondary School age upwards and will run on the first Friday of each Month from 7.30 to 9.30. BECOMING A CATHOLIC?: Are you or someone you know interested in finding out more about the Christian Faith and the Catholic Church. If so please contact Fr. John after Mass or make enquiries to the Parish Office. We will begin our preparation for Adults wishing to be baptised or indeed make their 1st Communion or be Confirmed in the Catholic Faith at the Easter Vigil next Easter. |

This year’s Parish Picnic will be held on Sunday 20th June from 1-8pm. Thanks to the wonderful generousity of Luttrellstown Golf Club the Picnic Funday is being held held in the grounds around Luttrellstown Castle. Tickets are available from the Parish Centre at €10 per family/car which covers admittance, raffle and live entertainment all day. Events include: |
